MASK-1124 3M 1870 HEALTH CARE PARTICULATE RESPIRATOR & SURGICAL MASK

The 3M 1870 model meets the requirements as a particulate respirator specified by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for controlling the exposure of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis (1994). This model can also be used to reduce the wearer’s exposure in laser and electrocautery processes.

The 3M 1870 health care particulate respirator and surgical mask has been approved by NIOSH as an N95 class respirator and also cleared by FDA to be used as a surgical mask. 

The 3M 1870 respirator can separate at least 95% airborne particles as a certified N95 particulate respirator. The 3M 1870 model is also fluid-resistant that ensures protection against splash and spatter of blood. 

The 3M 1870 model is basically a three-fold, flat panel respirator. This model offers the benefits of traditional cup-shape products, such as 3M 1860 and 1860S, with the advantages of flat-fold style. The 3M 1870 model has been designed with two elastic headbands, a malleable nose clip and a foam strip to ensure a secure fit. This fit can also be customized through these arrangements and covers a wide range of faces in the adult population.

It has been designed with soft inner material to provide a comfortable fit around the skin. This model has been incorporated with an innovative chin tab to maintain proper adjustment and easy positioning. This model comes with a flat-fold design which is packaged individually, and consequently, this model can be stored easily prior to use. This model is also disposable and latex-free. It also includes a top panel to provide more space for eyewear. This sculpted top panel also helps reduce eyewear fogging.

The 3M 1870 model particulate respirator can be used in healthcare facilities, such as operating rooms, TB wards, laser and electrocautery procedures, infection control, diagnostic laboratories, emergency pandemic situations or preparation for future pandemic situations, etc.
